Florian Mundt
Florian Mundt, better known as LeFloid, is one of the most influential German YouTubers and influencers who, with his format "LeNews," mobilizes especially younger viewers for news and political issues. His business model is based on YouTube advertising revenue, network cooperations, and merchandising. Beyond that, he is active as an entrepreneur in the streaming industry; he was a co-shareholder of 2nd Wave GmbH until September 2024, an agency that manages influencer projects, and until summer 2025 a co-shareholder of DoktorFroid. For a brief period in 2019, LeFloid could boast over 3,100,000 followers, but from there his follower numbers declined constantly. His much-noted 2015 interview with Angela Merkel is considered the height of his reach, though at the time he was criticized for being too gentle in his conversational style toward the politician. Beyond political topics, LeFloid produces various entertainment formats, for example in the gaming sector.
